LATE

I woke up
at 8:05 thinking I was late.
So I hopped out of bed,
combed my hair,
and brushed my teeth real fast.

I picked out a non-matching outfit,
I really was in dread.
I didn't want to be late,
Oh-No! Oh-Great!

My bowl of cereal fell on the floor.
No time to clean it up.
Then another thing fell,
my cup of ice cold OJ!

I looked outside ready to cry,
but it was so nice today.
I looked at the calender,
and noticed that today,
of course,
was Saturday.

Be Strong

You may feel very stretched out,
so very long.
But, unless you want to fail,
you have to Be Strong.

It'll get better

It'll get better,
I promise you,
It'll get better,
in a day or two.

You may feel flt,
like a dead rat.
As sick as a dog,
or a lump on a log.

You may feel like your in pieces.
Like your in a shredder,
but I promise you,
It'll get better.

3 Ways to Get Rid of the Hiccups

1.Hold your breath
2.Drink some water
3.Let them pass

What sport? x3

I grip the bat harder as the huge ball come flying toward me. I swing. Strike 1. I swing again. Strike 2 . What am I doing? I think. I swing for the last time. Home run.

What sport? x2

I'm breathing hard. My lungs on fire. I see the ball fly towards my and I catch it. I tuck it in my arm and I run as fast as I can towards the In-zone. I doge 3 people and finally make it to the black and gold colored area. I stop and drop the ball on the floor. Championships here we come.

What sport?

I looked up at the rim. Sweat gliding down my face. I bounce the ball twice, now three times. I put my arms up and throw the ball. 3-2-1-BUZZ. It goes in without touching the rim. My teammates come and topple on top of me. The crowd's beaming screams pounding in my ears. The guy with the microphone comes and hand me a giant, gold trophy and my teammates lift me up on to their shoulders. I walk out a CHAMPION.

Page 20

Page 20 is weird. Not old enough to drink moderately but old enough to drive. Not old enough to get married but old enough to date. Not old enough to get a high paid job but old enough to get a small almost unpaid job. Not old enough to go to hit the clubs but old enough to hit the mall. Page 20 is weird. I don't like it at all. Nature

Oh nature, Oh nature,
so beautiful and sound,
never make things difficult,
or turns thing around.

Except for on your bad days,
when your angry or depressed.
Ever towns person terrified,
and wanting you to be at rest.

You give us the birds
and the sweet song they sing.
You give us the rain as it goes 'pling-pling'

Oh nature, Oh nature,
I want to thank you.
for giving us everything.
Thank you. Thank you.

Birthday Morning

I wake up on Sunday
ready to take it on.
I yell ITS MY BIRTHDAY
as I wake up my brother Ron.

He screams and flips out of his bed,
like a fish out of water
or a chicken without a head.

He gives me a angry look
and a little hiss.
He chucks a shoe at me
but he missed.

I say Don't hurt me. Mom will get mad
You will be hurt,
be in the doghouse and
You wont get that transformer you wanted real bad.

He nods his head
and heads for the bathroom.
Don't smell it up to bad
or I will be in my tomb!

Deep Blues

My boyfriend broke up with me
and my dog ran away.
I sprained my ankle in P.E. class
and had to sit and stay.

My dad got kicked out of the house
and he took my sister with him.
My mom went crazy
and accidentally kicked me in the shin.

I went outside to get away
and fell on a nail.
I tried to do a Ollie
but totally failed.

I got a paper cut
and it got infected.
My whole life ran away
and I feel unprotected.

Music: Have you heard?

Music is a spectacular thing. Its amazing how music is helpful in a variety of ways. I strongly believe that everyone should get involved in music.

Has school, a job, or maybe even family ever stressed you out? Try listening to music and, no, don't turn on the TV and hope you feel better. TV is way to busy for your mind and body to relax. The always-moving picture and always-talking characters make it hard for your mind to concentrate on what is going on. Try lying on your bed and then listen to your favorite song. Maybe even close your eyes! You will probably feel much better and have more useful concentration skills. Put a little rhythm into your relaxation!

Have you ever caught yourself dancing to a song? That's great! Dancing to a song is a great way to stay active. If you don't like sports, then try dancing! Studies show that dancing makes you strong and more coordinated. Certain dances include jumping which is a great aerobic exercise according to the American Heart Association.

Lastly, have you noticed that some songs make you happy and others make you sad? The musicians who composed these songs have a great sense of creativity and you can too! Try playing an instrument like the trumpet, flute, or maybe even clarinet. Then you can increase your creativity and make your own beautiful music!

As you can see music is more than just popping a CD into your stereo. Music is a joy by itself but having exercise, relaxation, and a way to express yourself all in one makes it even better. Get involved in music and it will amaze you too!
